We are looking for an Engineering Executive to ensure the implementation, coordination, and supervision of maintenance and improvement of the factory’s plant and equipment, excluding electrical equipment and instrumentation, to meet production targets.
A day in the life of...
* Ensure flawless execution of the Production QMS and HACCP SOPs, troubleshoot, and resolve line quality deviations, maintenance, and equipment issues.
* Take prompt and corrective actions in all areas of Engineering to minimize failure impacts.
* Manage routine maintenance by setting priorities to ensure implementation of the AMM schedule (PM 03) and optimize equipment feed for different products.
* Control the routine M&R budget for production lines, troubleshoot, and resolve line-engineering deviations, including breakdowns.
* Follow prescribed guidelines, control material, labor, GFOH, and M&R variances.
* Coach, train, and motivate MDT1 teams to achieve quality, supply, speed, cost, and people management targets.
* Maintain good work discipline with fitters and operators, formally appraise fitter performance annually, develop staff, and conduct training based on identified needs.
* Implement SHE SOPs and participate in identifying and resolving safety and environmental hazards.
* Represent MDT1 teams at the MDT2 level, promote Continuous Improvement ideas, and participate in C.I. projects under the guidance of the Production Manager.
What Will Make You Successful,
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical field, preferably in food manufacturing or consumer goods industry.
* A degree or diploma in engineering, preferably in mechanical engineering.
* Recognized engineering diploma or apprenticeship certificate with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
* Experience with machinery such as Wolf, Robema, and Ishida is an advantage.
