PROJECT MANAGEMENT OFFICE (PMO) DIRECTOR
Overview
InflexionPoint is a high-growth solution provider delivering automation, MES, and digital transformation services across the U.S., with deep expertise in life sciences. Backed by private equity, we’re scaling rapidly and seeking a hands-on, results-oriented PMO Director to lead and evolve our project delivery function.
You’ll build a high-performing PMO, establish standards, and implement processes that drive visibility, accountability, and project success. This role reports directly to the CEO and works closely with technical leads and executive stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
PMO Leadership & Governance
* Lead a directive PMO aligned to strategic goals
* Implement governance for cost, scope, schedule, and change control
* Build a culture of accountability and metrics
Portfolio & Project Oversight
* Drive visibility using EVM and P&L dashboards
* Lead monthly financial reviews and continuous improvement efforts
* Own one key project while mentoring others
Process, Tools & Templates
* Standardize and integrate tools: Smartsheet, MS Project, Excel, NetSuite, Jira
* Create SOPs, templates, and scalable workflows
Training & Change Management
* Coach PMs on fundamentals, tools, and reporting
* Lead onboarding and capability development
Stakeholder Engagement
* Communicate risk and performance to leadership and clients
* Ensure alignment across PM, technical, and sales leads
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
* Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in a relevant field
* PMP certification required
* 10+ years in project management, 5+ in PMO leadership
* Experience in automation, MES, or systems integration preferred
* Excellent communicator and coach
* Servant leader with a change agent mindset
* Comfortable operating in both strategic and tactical roles
* Able to translate complexity into clarity for stakeholders
* Proven success implementing EVM, P&L, and project governance
* Tool fluency in MS Project, Excel, Smartsheet, and ERP/NetSuite
