Position Summary
As a Retail & System Specialist, to be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance, availability, and usability of the front and back office cash register system critical for running the Nestlé Shops. This role bridges retail needs with IT operations, ensuring stable, secure, and user-friendly check-out systems. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure the functioning of the system, maintain data quality for effective category management, flawless billing and drive continuous improvement.
A Day in the Life of a Retail & System Specialist
* Provide support for store staff with the cash register system (CEGID)
* Liaise with IT and CEGID for technical issues
* Create and test activations/promotions in the cash register system
* Ensure timely payment of bills and salaries
* Open SKU's in the cash register system
* Switch articles as needed
* Assure changes in COGS and shelf prices
What will make you successful
* Autonomous, analytical and solution-oriented mindset
* Effective communication skills
* Rigorous attention to detail, ensuring system accuracy and data integrity
* Experience with IT systems; knowledge of Cegid software is a plus
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
* Retail experience and knowledge of shop floor realities
* Professional knowledge of English; good knowledge of French and basic German as a plus
