Mantell Associates is partnered with a reputable and innovative Pharmaceutical company in Basel, who is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance Manager to oversee QA operations and ensure compliance across manufacturing and development processes.

Quality Assurance Manager - Responsibilities:
* Manage and maintain a robust Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with GMP, ISO standards, and local regulatory requirements
* Oversee and conduct internal and supplier audits, drive CAPA management, and lead initiatives to ensure ongoing readiness for inspections and release operations
* Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders - including R&D, Manufacturing, Regulatory Affairs, and Supply Chain - to develop and implement effective quality strategies across the product lifecycle
* Provide leadership for change control, deviation management, trend analysis, and risk evaluations
* Mentor and develop QA team members, building a strong culture of quality and continuous improvement within the site
* Support new projects and process improvements ensuring alignment with quality expectations and regulatory compliance
Quality Assurance Manager - Requirements:
* 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance roles within the pharmaceutical or biotech industries
* Strong knowledge of GMP compliance, QMS implementation, internal auditing, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., Swissmedic, EMA, ICH)
* Demonstrated experience managing deviation handling, change control, CAPA, and audit interventions
* Exceptional problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and capability to drive quality culture across the organization
* Fluent in English; German language proficiency highly preferred for effective local collaboration
* Based in or willing to relocate to Basel, Switzerland, with legal entitlement to work in Switzerland
