We're looking for a Senior Governmental Affairs Advisor to:
* shape our regulatory positioning by independently analyzing complex Swiss banking regulations and developing high-impact advocacy materials on matters that may have a material impact on our strategy and business, as well as clients, investors, and employees
* collaborate closely with senior leaders in regulatory strategy, finance, legal, and governmental affairs to align advocacy efforts with our business priorities
* act as a key interface between subject matter experts and governmental affairs advisors to translate technical insights into effective advocacy content

Your team
Governmental Affairs serves as a central team to manage regulatory policy and political issues that are of relevance to UBS. We identify and analyze relevant developments that have a material impact on UBS's strategy and businesses and lead the Group's advocacy efforts.

Your expertise
* master's degree in economics, finance, international relations or a related field
* at least 8 years of experience in the financial sector or in public policy with specific expertise in financial market regulation or public policy analysis; data science or data management skills are a plus
* strong analytical thinking skills
* excellent written and spoken German and English language skills; fluency in French or Italian is a plus
* hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated and collaborative
* strategic thinker with strong communication skills
* motivated to work in a business with high demands and tight deadlines
