Our client is a Geneva-based FMCG international player. Description The Chief Accountant will be asked to do the following: \\- Coordinate and supervise monthly closing and all general ledger accounts (Swiss/IFRS standars), as well as monthly accounting reviews and reconciliations and taw regulations. \\- Prepare and record closing entries (payroll, leasing IFRS 16, fixed assets, provisions, prepaid expenses) \\- Manage VAT returns and corporate income tax declarations \\- Deliver ad hoc financial analyses and reportings \\- Maintain and update master files and approval matrix \\- Propose and implement process improvements Profile The candidates for the Chief Accountant should present the following:\\* \\- Higher education in Accounting or Master's degree (major in Accounting and/or Finance) \\- 5 years of experience in general accounting and taxation (VAT, corporate tax), with GL responsibilities in an international environment \\- Strong knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS and Swiss GAAP) \\- Advanced proficiency in Excel and Office suite, experience on Microsoft Dynamics preferred \\- English and French mandatory \\- Team spirit, excellent communication skills, dedication Job Offer An opportunity to lead multi-entity accounting and contribute to a strategic transformation within an international, dynamic company.
