Service Sales Representative — MSHS Pacific Power Group
Location: Remote – California
Salary: $105,000 – $125,000 per year + uncapped commission
Travel: Up to 50%

As our Service Sales Representative for the Western State Territory, you’ll have the rare opportunity to build a market from the ground up—expanding our footprint across California, with opportunity to expand into Oregon and Washington.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys setting strategy, taking ownership, and driving measurable results. You’ll represent a leading provider of power generation, MRO, and control solutions—building relationships, identifying opportunities, and shaping success in an emerging region.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
* Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand market share and achieve growth targets in the Northeast region.
* Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities within industrial, power generation, and marine sectors.
* Build lasting relationships with clients through consultative and solution-oriented selling.
* Maintain a healthy sales pipeline, ensuring strong forecasting and revenue visibility.
* Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional service and customized solutions.
* Stay current on market conditions, competitor activity, and industry trends to identify emerging opportunities.
* Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and key customer meetings.
* Consistently communicate updates and results to management and internal stakeholders.
Required Skills, Experience & Abilities
* Minimum 5 years of successful outside sales or application engineering experience with a proven record of exceeding sales goals.
* Strong presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
* Self-starter who can work independently, prioritize effectively, and execute in a dynamic environment.
* Experience selling into power generation and/or industrial markets.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
* Willingness to travel up to 50%.
Preferred Skills, Experience & Abilities
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
* Background in controls, automation, or engineered systems.
* Familiarity with Woodward products or similar control technologies.
* Technical understanding of integrated systems and power solutions.
* Consultative sales approach with a focus on long-term customer success.
