About the Role
As a Frontend Engineer, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create exceptional user experiences that power our insurance platforms from end to end.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and review code that meets our high standards for quality and maintainability
* Debug TypeScript, CSS, and HTML exceptions and profile performance issues
* Integrate REST APIs in a secure and typesafe way
* Shape architecture by contributing to key decisions and documentation that guide our technical direction
* Stay current with emerging technologies and Generative AI developments to continuously improve our development efficiency
* Collaborate closely with user experience experts, product owners, and requirements engineers
* Build end-to-end user engagement platforms spanning the entire insurance value chain

Qualifications
* Proficiency in software development across the entire software delivery lifecycle
* Strong knowledge of Angular, HTML, and CSS
* Experience building and packaging modules with Webpack and NodeJS
* Comfort working with large and established codebases in an IDE environment
* Understanding of frontend architecture and best practices
Nice to Have
* Knowledge of state management solutions (NgRx, RxJS)
* Familiarity with UI/UX design principles
* Experience with automated testing frameworks for Angular
* Background in insurance or financial services technology
* Knowledge of accessibility standards and implementation
For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between EUR 2,700 and EUR 4,500 per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:
* the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
* the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.
In addition to your base salary, Swiss Re offers an attractive performance-based variable compensation component, designed to recognise your achievements. Further you will enjoy a variety of global and location specific benefits.
