Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our team. As a Fintech Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in our transition from established on-premises data solutions towards a future crafted in the cloud.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and optimize SAP BO Universe models, reports, and dashboards to ensure they deliver critical insights to stakeholders.
* Oversee the performance and integrity of Oracle DWH views using PL-SQL, ensuring data quality and accessibility.
* Collaborate with team members, business engineers, and project managers to work on day-to-day requirements and improve current data practices, enhancing efficiency and driving innovation.
* Provide technical support and expertise to internal and external business and technical teams, helping them to understand and make the most of data reporting tools.
As we pivot towards a cloud-first strategy, you will be at the forefront of learning and implementing Looker and Google Cloud BigQuery + dbt solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field, with minimum 3 years of experience in data analysis.
* Strong foundation in data analysis, with experience in SAP-BO and Oracle DWH.
* Eagerness to learn and transition to cloud-based data solutions, specifically Google Cloud's BigQuery and Looker.
* Ability to manage and navigate both current on-premises and future cloud-based data environments effectively.
* Excellent problem-solving skills, with a knack for identifying and implementing improvements to data processes.
* Strong communication abilities, capable of explaining complex data concepts in clear terms to various stakeholders.
