Job Description: SAP Manager
Manage and develop the SAP team, consisting of 7 direct and 7 matrix reports, across geographies and time zones in close collaboration with matrix managers.
Be responsible for our SAP solution, providing leadership for daily operations, roadmap, and strategy.
Act as delivery manager for all solutions delivered, including change requests, projects, incident management, process optimization/automation, and user support.
Establish strong relationships with business stakeholders and understand segment business models.
Represent the SAP perspective within the global Burckhardt Compression architecture, business process ecosystem, relevant boards, and user community.
Apply industry best practices around ERP demand management, change management, agile operations, and contribute to establishing an efficient group-wide operating model.
Promote SAP landscape standards to function heads for broad buy-in and drive cultural change towards user adoption of digital processes and tools.
Manage suppliers, contracts, and budgets related to the SAP landscape, collaborating with other delivery managers, the architecture team, procurement, and legal.
Support the transformation of SAP architecture towards cloud consumption and SAP S/4HANA migration.
Advise senior stakeholders on solutions to business challenges.
Your Knowledge, Experience, and Skills
* Master's degree in computer science, business administration, or an equivalent professional qualification.
* In-depth SAP knowledge, certified in modules such as FI, CO, MM, SD, or PP.
* Experience in building, leading, and developing a SAP Competence Centre.
* Extensive experience managing support and project management in SAP, including multiple implementations.
* Proven track record with S/4HANA system design, setup, implementation, and migration from SAP ECC to S/4HANA in a multi-geography setup.
* Experience managing diverse teams, including staff, consultants, and contractors, possibly offshore.
* Leadership experience with globally distributed, cross-functional teams.
* Ability to communicate confidently with senior leadership.
* Preferably experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
