Overview We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Legal Counsel specialized in Structured Products to join our client's dynamic legal team in Zurich. In this role, you will provide expert legal support on a wide range of structured products and capital markets transactions, ensuring compliance with Swiss and international regulatory standards.
Responsibilities Advise on the structuring, issuance, and distribution of structured products, derivatives, and other financial instruments
Draft and negotiate documentation including base prospectuses, termsheets, and distribution agreements
Monitor and interpret changes in relevant regulations (FinSA, FinIA, MiFID II, PRIIPs, etc.)
Work closely with cross-functional teams including structuring, trading, compliance, and tax
Liaise with regulators and external counsel as required
Provide training and legal updates to internal stakeholders
About The Candidate Fully qualified Swiss lawyer (admitted to the Swiss Bar)
Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in a leading law firm or financial institution, with a focus on structured products
Deep understanding of Swiss and EU financial regulatory frameworks
Excellent command of both German and English (written and spoken)
Strong analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, international environment
