Account Manager - Roche Sequencing Solutions (m/w/d) - DACH Region

Responsibilities
* Identify and cultivate new business relationships and engage key decision‑makers in the sequencing community.
* Develop and monitor regional commercial growth plans, focusing on key success metrics to achieve revenue and strategic goals.
* Manage sales opportunities effectively through Salesforce/CRM.
* Conduct product presentations and consultative discussions to showcase the value of Roche sequencing solutions.
* Provide technical expertise throughout the sales process, including application consultations and data analysis support.
* Represent Roche at conferences, trade shows, and networking events to establish thought leadership and engage potential customers.
* Collaborate closely with marketing, product management, service, and support teams to align sales efforts with company objectives and customer needs.
* Partner with subregional teams across Europe to develop and implement strategic plans for successful market penetration.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Life Science, Business, or a related field.
* Proven experience in selling capital equipment within the diagnostics/life sciences industry.
* Deep understanding of Next Generation Sequencing and related genomic techniques.
* Demonstrated excellence in negotiation, strategic planning, and organizational abilities.
* Ability to identify technical needs and provide business solutions.
* Strong business acumen and entrepreneurial spirit to navigate complex sales processes.
* Excellent communication skills to deliver impactful group presentations and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
* Willingness to undertake national and international travel.
* Preferred experience: 5+ years in a clinical research or academic laboratory environment, experience selling sequencers for NGS applications, and proficiency in NGS data analysis.
* Fluent in English; knowledge of German and/or other European languages is an advantage.
