Senior Project Manager (100%) Your mission
Lead and successfully execute complex, strategic company projects and programs across the different locations of the KLK Kolb Group (CH, NL)
Ensure that implemented solutions meet regulatory and contractual requirements
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define and document project scope, deliverables and goals, to set project metrics and to identify risks
Ensure that projects remain in-scope and meet budgetary, scheduling, and quality requirements
Manage communication with internal and external project teams
Collaborate with the Project Management Office to implement and improve project management practices and tools within the KLK Kolb Group
Implement monitoring and control mechanisms to ensure project progress both internally and at external parties. Manage and pro-actively communicate changes in plans, budget or schedule
Manage and support the project team with training, early identification of issues, resolving team conflicts, and escalation of critical issues to management
Your profile
Bachelor degree in engineering, chemistry or project management, or related area
PMI or PMP certification or equivalent from an accredited organization
Proficiency in English and German, Dutch is an advantage
At least 5 years of experience as a project manager in the execution of engineering, process optimization and improvement projects preferably in the chemical, engineering or related industries
Proven track record in successful completion of projects and achievement of project goals
Excellent project management skills, including definition and managing of project scope, prioritization of activities and ensuring timelines, budget and quality of execution are met
Experience in working in an international environment, with local and remote teams from various cultural backgrounds
Ability to build strong working relationships and excellent communication skills
Excellent time management and meeting facilitation skills as well as strong analytical and problem solving skills
Positive, can-do attitude with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Willing to mentor junior team members and share knowledge
Familiar with project planning software and experience with developing work process flow charts
Open for temporary assignments at other KLK Kolb locations and regular travel (10-20%)
