As a Warehouse Manager at Gutor Electronics, you will be leading the Warehouse Team including development and coaching while improving the existing processes. With your team you will be securing the goods receiving including defined inspections and picking/packing of material for assembly and spare parts business. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Lead, coach and develop the Warehouse Operators within Warehouse Team Switzerland (CH). • Manage daily warehouse operations including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of materials and finished goods. • Develop and execute effective workforce planning to ensure adequate staffing levels based on workload and production needs. • Actively provide professional guidance, supervision, and structured vocational training for logistics apprentices as a certified vocational trainer. • Supervision and improvement of stock key figures and SIM1 KPI’s. • SAP key user in the MM module for the warehouse area. • Securing the replenishment of the internal Kanban-System while improving the Kanban-System itself. • E nsuring a structured warehouse organisation with clear responsibilities which enables an optimal internal material flow. • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment in compliance with internal and external safety regulations. • Development and implementation of process improvements. • Plan, organize and perform the stock-take according to stocktaking schedules. • Securing the proper storing of material while applying the FIFO principal. • Processing of ECO’s. • Collaboration on projects. • Support audits. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS – REQUIRED • Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse/logistics management within a manufacturing environment. • Strong experience with SAP ERP, especially Materials Management (MM) modules. • In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and material flow processes. • Fluent in German; proficient in English (written and spoken). • Excellent leadership and organizational skills; ability to lead by example. • Strong communication skills and a proactive, hands-on approach. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS – DESIRED BUT NOT ESSENTIAL • Background in electronics or industrial equipment manufacturing. • Knowledge of LEAN, 5S, or Six Sigma principles. • Forklift license and understanding of warehouse safety standards. • Experience with digital warehouse tools (e.g., barcode scanners, mobile SAP apps).
