About the Role In this role, you will participate in the following activities:
Service management responsibility, management of providers within a variety of areas (infrastructure, network services or application development)
Improvement of service quality, drive provider governance
Management, consolidation and analysis of IT services and costs
Consolidation and optimization of contracts, closure of new deals, engage in improving the quality and cost of the services of the IT unit
Responsible for leading and coordination of internal projects, RFP initiation, transformations
Creation of service level and financial reviews/reports for the team and senior management, planning of critical initiatives
About the Team Our Provider Management Chapter consists mainly of empathetic IT Service Managers and Product Owners who handle around 55 Vendors and are doing their best to provide high quality services, with outstanding lead times and for reasonable costs. We are a happy bunch of 7-9 people working in 3 different locations (Slovakia, Switzerland and India) and belong to the organization of Group Technology Services (GTS) where we provide IT services across the Swiss Re group in all of its locations.

This role is also suitable for young professionals with min. 2 years working experience either in Project/Service/Delivery management
Has good competence in driving challenging projects and handling finances.
Has advanced Excel skills (pivots, data analysis), PowerBI or any other BI experience is also very appreciated.
Puts more focus in detail and integrity, works diligently and has great analyzing skills.
A great team-mate with the ability to take initiative and responsibility, loves to share their perspective to improve things.
Communicates effectively with senior management.
