Liquid lenses have been Optotune’s core business since its inception in 2008. While they are used in many different applications, the machine vision segment has become the largest - and the growth has only just started! Partnerships with objective lens makers and camera companies result in more seamless end-user integration and multiply our market access. Your job is to understand market requirements & trends, find new applications in the imaging space, define the next generation of liquid lens products, expand strategic partnerships, and scale the business.
Tasks
* Strategic development of Optotune’s machine vision business
* Acquisition of new customers worldwide
* Development of strategic partnerships with key players of the ecosystem
* Market research & definition of new products
* Creation of sales & training materials, business plans and go-to-market strategies
* Content creation for marketing materials
* Participation in trade shows
Requirements
* Must have a technical background (MSc or equivalent)
* At least 3 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in machine vision
* Experience in management consulting is advantageous
* Ability to identify new customers, build up & maintain relationships
* Ability to understand customers' technical requirements and suggest solutions
* Passion for technology & innovation, winning personality, well organized, autonomous, and prepared to travel internationally
* Excellent knowledge of English, good knowledge of German, other languages advantageous
* Good working knowledge in MS Office applications
