For our office in Biel/Bienne, we are seeking a committed and spiritually grounded individual to join us from 1 January 2026 or by mutual agreement as:
Director (80–100%)
Are you passionate about God's mission and eager to take on a meaningful leadership role? Join us and help shape the future of Bible translation. Together with a dedicated team, you will contribute to advancing Scripture translation and strengthening people worldwide through the Word of God.
Your Responsibilities
* Provide spiritual, strategic, and operational leadership in close collaboration with the Board
* Lead and support the team in Biel as well as members based in Switzerland and abroad
* Represent Wycliffe Switzerland to churches, partner organisations, media, and international bodies
* Promote engagement in churches, among supporters, and in the public sphere
* Share responsibility for finances, organisational development, and personnel
* Further develop the vision and strategy of Wycliffe Switzerland
What You Bring
* Proven leadership experience (e.g. as a manager, pastor, or team leader)
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A self-directed, solution-oriented, and well-structured approach to work
* Clear identification with Wycliffe’s mission and values
* Excellent command of either German or French, with good knowledge of the other language and of English
