We're looking for an experienced Elixir Back end developer with strong ownership and a track record of delivering high-performance, production-grade systems end-to-end. You'll work closely with a small, fast-moving team to design and implement scalable backend services.
Tasks
What You'll Own:
* Design, implement, and maintain Elixir-based APIs, workers, and background jobs
* Build reliable and high-performance systems using OTP, Phoenix, and Ecto
* Integrate with internal and external services, queues, and event-driven pipelines
* Collaborate across product, frontend, and DevOps teams
* Own delivery — from architecture and coding to deployment and monitoring
Requirements
Must-Have Qualifications
* 5+ years of backend development experience, with at least 2 years in Elixir
* Strong knowledge of OTP, Ecto, and Phoenix frameworks
* Proven experience building high-performance systems
* Solid experience with PostgreSQL and SQL performance tuning
* Familiarity with AWS services and serverless environments (e.g., Lambda)
* Strong ownership mindset and ability to work independently
Nice to Have
* Experience in the FinTech industry
* Experience with (Express, AWS Lambda)
