Overview
WinGD is seeking a Process Development Engineer Emission Abatement (30%). This role supports the decarbonization of the maritime industry by developing emission abatements to reduce CO2 emissions for present and future fuels. WinGD aims to enable greenhouse gas-reduced propulsion power while ensuring safety, reliability, and ease of manufacture and maintenance, in compliance with maritime classification societies.
Responsibilities
* Research on exhaust gas pretreatment enabling CO2 capture
* Support the development of emission abatement technologies for current and future fuels
* Participate in development and integration of hardware components for emission abatement technologies, supported by an experienced and motivated team
* Technical authoring
Requirements
* Bachelor’s or ongoing master’s degree in process, mechanical engineering or similar technical field
* Experience or interest in post-combustion emission abatement technology, preferably Carbon Capture, Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology and beyond
* English; German is an advantage
