Job objective
• Ensuring that projects of low to medium complexity are completed in accordance with customer requirements in terms of quality, technology and deadlines.
• Ensuring that projects are completed with at least the calculated financial result.
• Ensuring that the systems are implemented with design and configuration principles.
• Create a beneficial customer relationship and acquire follow-up and new projects.
Main tasks and activities
• Management of project staff and, if necessary, sub-project managers, including CAD planning across all project phases
• Defining project-oriented procedures and ensuring implementation knowledge
• Determining the use of project resources and scheduling
• Coordination with customers, suppliers and other service providers
• Creating specifications and designs, as well as designing R+I diagrams and plant elements
• Creating and ensuring the operation of the project infrastructure and logistics in-house and on site
• Monitoring and controlling all project phases
• Managing installation and commissioning activities
• Managing qualification work and ensuring project documentation
• Monitoring deadlines and costs, triggering invoicing and general project controlling
• Ensuring plant compliance with current guidelines
• Assessing customer situations and developing concepts, calculations and quotations
Qualifications
• Basic training in a technical profession with a university degree or equivalent
• Experience in the design and layout of process engineering plants
• Initial experience as a project manager for plant construction in process engineering
• Knowledge of processes and standards in the food/pharmaceutical/chemical industry
• Knowledge of relevant 2D and 3D drawing tools
• Native speaker of German or French.
• Communicative and adept at dealing with customer contacts at all hierarchical levels
• Good comprehension skills for understanding and implementing procedures and processes
