We are now seeking a Buyer to join our Supply Chain team at our Netherley, Stonehaven facility – a key hub for turbine operations and customer support.
What You’ll Do
As a Buyer, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials and components that keep our turbine projects on schedule. Your responsibilities will include:
* Source and purchase gas turbine components, balancing cost, quality, and delivery.
* Build and maintain strong partnerships, negotiate terms, and monitor performance.
* Convert requisitions into purchase orders, expedite deliveries, and resolve any supply chain issues.
* Drive supplier performance reviews, manage non-conformance claims, and support quality initiatives.
* Provide costing information to support sales and project teams.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in procurement or supply chain within MRO or related engineering industries.
* Experience of supplier management and negotiation of agreements.
* Strong team player capable of working across various departments and with external stakeholders.
* Adaptable approach, able to work independently, and function effectively as part of a team.
