IT Business Analyst HR – Position Management, Recruitment & Matching
Médecins Sans Frontières is an independent, international medical and humanitarian organization providing care to those in need, affected by disasters, or victims of conflict, without discrimination (MSF Charter).
The HR Functional Officer supports the integration of HR systems within MSF OCG. MSF operates through 5 centers supported by 24 sections globally. MSF OCG, based in Geneva, employs approximately 450 HQ staff and 6,000 international staff across 30 countries, working on 110 humanitarian projects.
MSF has grown significantly over the past decade, managing expansion with ad-hoc tools. To improve support, OCG has launched a transformative HR initiative, including the implementation of a new HR Information System (HRIS) based on Workday.
This position reports to both the HRIS Program Manager and the Head of Projects and Applications. The HR Business Analyst will help establish and implement business processes within the HRIS, facilitate workshops, liaise with external integrators, manage releases, and participate in projects.
Responsibilities
* Lead the Position Management, Recruitment & Matching stream, alongside two other roles focusing on Compensation & Benefits, Time & Attendance, and Core HR processes.
* Analyze current HR processes and systems for improvements.
* Gather and formalize business requirements, understanding stakes, benefits, constraints, and interdependencies.
* Ensure processes align with system standards.
* Document HR processes and maintain manuals.
* Coordinate with external consultants and facilitate workshops.
* Develop and execute testing strategies within the functional scope.
* Coordinate with IT infrastructure to ensure security and compliance.
* Provide technical documentation for applications.
* Create and deliver training programs for HR systems.
* Maintain HR data integrity.
Your Profile
Education
* Master’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or related fields.
* Project Management certification preferred; TOGAF, Design Thinking, or Six Sigma appreciated.
Experience
* Proven experience as an HR Business Analyst or similar role.
* Experience with large-scale HR system upgrades or migrations.
* Successful process reengineering within HR.
* Experience with Workday configuration is a plus.
* Experience working with NGOs or decentralized organizations.
* Strong HR management knowledge.
* Skills in HR application configuration and management.
* Understanding of data flow, storage, and usage.
* Knowledge of test management methods.
* Focus on end-user solutions within project parameters.
* Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
* Adaptability and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to work in an international, multicultural environment.
Languages
* Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
* Additional languages are a plus.

Terms of Employment
* Full-time (40 hours/week).
* Start as soon as possible.
* Salary: CHF 101,172 to CHF 115,332 annually, based on experience.
* 25 days paid vacation plus Swiss public holidays.
* Pension contributions: 75% covered by MSF.
* Relocation package available for international moves.
