The company operates in an operationally demanding, multi-entity environment with high complexity. Senior Controller / Business Analyst (80–100 %)
YOUR RESPONSABILITY In this business-critical role in operational controlling you are the strategic sparring partner. You are responsible for monthly closings and management reports and ensure that financials are prepared in a structured, consistent and decision-relevant manner. You analyze variances, interpret KPIs and provide management with reliable foundations for steering and prioritization. You independently manage budget and forecast processes, further develop planning logics and prepare a medium-term financial plan that connects operational reality with strategic objectives. At the same time, you drive the development of reporting and planning structures, create transparency in an international multi-entity setup and establish clear standards that work in everyday practice.
YOUR PROFILE You hold a university degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration or a comparable qualification and have at least eight years of solid controlling experience. Monthly closings, management reporting as well as budgeting and forecasting are part of your core skill set. You work very structured and independently and can set clear priorities even in dynamic situations. You have very advanced Excel skills, communicate confidently in English, German is an add on. Experience with SAP as well as IBM Cognos Analytics / Cognos BI and IBM Planning Analytics / TM1. Experience from retail, energy or multi-business environments is welcome, as is leadership potential with the prospect of professionally mentoring a junior controller in the medium term.
