About the role
Bühler Milling Solutions is the leading specialist in state‑of‑the‑art process technologies for producing high‑quality flour and semolina products from wheat, durum, rye, and corn. In the Milling Academy we are looking for a committed, entrepreneurial‑minded personality as Instructor Process Technology.
Responsibilities
* Train customer personnel and internal employees in milling technology, both at the Milling Academy and on‑site through hands‑on training.
* Create, update, and maintain training materials and course documentation while continuously familiarising yourself with new technologies and equipment.
* Define and further develop course content together with the team to ensure high‑quality and up‑to‑date training programs.
* Support customers and course participants by providing professional guidance, organising visits and representations, and ensuring a positive overall training experience.
* Provide technological and administrative support to the Customer Service and Technology departments, including sales‑supporting activities such as mill inspections and technical assistance in discussions.
Qualifications
* Completed vocational training as a miller or an equivalent qualification, ideally combined with advanced technical education in milling (e.g. Swiss School of Milling, DMSB, or similar), as well as several years of practical experience in the milling industry.
* Profound technical expertise in wheat, durum, oat, and corn milling, including detailed knowledge of machinery, aspiration, and pneumatics, complemented by a basic understanding of electrical and automation technology.
* Willingness to travel internationally for mill inspections, customer training, and on‑site support, combined with the ability to work effectively across different cultures and environments.
* Independent, responsible, and motivating personality with strong teamwork skills, the ability to stay calm under pressure, and a confident and professional presence when representing the company externally.
* Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken; additional languages such as German, French, or Spanish are an advantage.
