About H55 About H55 H55isa leader inelectricpropulsion for aviation and thetechnologicalspin-off of Solar Impulse, the firstelectricaircrafttoflyaroundtheworld. We design andcertifyElectric PropulsionUnits(EPU), Energy StorageSystems(ESS), and High-Voltage (HV) componentsthatenableclean, safe, and efficient flight.Supportedbyglobalinvestors, H55isexpandingitsengineeringcapabilities, productionfootprint, and North Americanoperations.
Key Responsibilities TechnicalLeadership (TL) & ArchitectureOwnership Define, own, andmaintaintheMC product architecture, including HW, SW, control strategies, HV interfaces, safety mechanisms, and dual-channel topology. Makehigh-leveldesignchoices(HLD)ensuringcompliancewithH55processes, certificationnorms(CS-23, ARP4754A, ARP4761, DO-160), and technologystandards. Guide engineeringteams(Power Electronics, Controls, FPGA / SW, Test)throughtheV-Cycle : requirements→ design →integration→ V&V → qualification.
Stakeholder Collaboration (X-FUNC) CollaboratewithCEs, System Engineering,HardwareEngineering, SoftwareEngineering,MechanicalEngineeringProcurement,Industrialization, manufacturingmangement, Production, andQualitytoensurefull itemreadinessacrossdesign, procurement, assembly, andtesting. SupportMake/Buyanalysis, supplier technical evaluation, andDfM / DfA / DfTactivities.
