The VP of Finance will ensure compliant, efficient, and scalable financial governance across all entities while supporting the company's continued international growth.
Your Responsibilities
In this senior leadership role, you will:

* Manage the full lifecycle of legal entities - from incorporation and operationalization in RS, CH, US, DE, and BG to restructuring and reorganization (if necessary).
* Oversee external payroll providers and Employer-of-Record arrangements, ensuring control, transparency, and legal alignment across borders
* Drive group budgeting, financial planning, treasury, cashflow management, and cost discipline across all countries
* Coordinate and manage external legal, tax, accounting, audit, and advisory teams (including Big4 or equivalent), ensuring efficiency and consistent Group standards
* Support investor relations, capital raising, banking negotiations, and due diligence processes in coordination with the CEO
* Maintain rigorous governance, internal controls, IFRS-aligned reporting practices, and audit readiness across the Group
* Implement ongoing financial process automation (ERP, reporting, and control systems) to support scale and transparency
* Partner closely with the CEO and business leadership in Serbia, Germany, and the US to align operational decisions with financial and legal implications
Your Profile
You are a finance leader with a unique international legal and finance background, ideally matching the following:
* Minimum 15 years of senior finance leadership experience (Head of Finance / VP / CFO), including at least 5 years managing multi-jurisdiction finance.
* Direct, hands-on experience with Serbian financial, labor, and compliance frameworks, including interactions with public authorities, auditors, banks, payroll providers, and legal firms
* Proven ability to establish, restructure, and liquidate legal entities across several countries
* Big4 experience (audit, IFRS, controls, financial processes) is a strong advantage
* Finance professional qualification: CFA, ACCA qualification (or equivalent international certification) is a strong asset
* Experience in fundraising for Series B and later stages
* Hands-on experience in investor reporting and working with international financial institutions
* Demonstrated leadership in building and developing finance teams, processes, and automation in fast-scaling organizations
* Excellent communication skills, stakeholder management, and ability to navigate legal, financial, and operational complexity
* Fluent English; additional European languages are a plus
* Hands-on, structured, decisive, and resilient — comfortable operating in a dynamic international environment
What We Offer
* A strategic executive role with direct impact on Invenda's structure and global growth.
* Full ownership of the Group finance and legal operations, with strong influence on company direction.
* Direct collaboration with the CEO and BoD.
* Hybrid working setup, with expected presence in Serbia and Switzerland as needed.
* Competitive compensation and leadership-level responsibility.
* An international culture built on professionalism, transparency, and trust.
