The opportunity
Hitachi Energy is seeking aSenior R&D Mechanical Engineer – High Voltage to join our innovative and forward-thinking team. 6. Act as a subject matter expert, supporting colleagues and sharing knowledge to foster collaboration and innovation within the team
7. Support business operations and customers as a technical expert and represent the team in internal and external engineering forums
8. Contribute to intellectual property strategy, identify risks, and support effective risk management in R&D projects
Your background
9. Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related field
10. 5–10 years of experience in R&D or engineering, preferably in high voltage equipment or components
11. Strong expertise in the design and development of high voltage components (experience with bushings is an advantage)
12. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
13. Solid understanding of business processes and R&D environments
14. Proven experience in project management and cross-functional collaboration
15. Basic understanding of intellectual property considerations in R&D
