Responsibilities
Preferred location: Basel, Switzerland (remote position)
60% Major responsibility in Sales: Visiting existing customers and developing new customers, supporting the distributor network in the region, reaching sales target by driving core products, and providing intensive support for the professional fire department (Pillar City).
10% Major responsibility Project: Develop demand for Core Product Groups 01 (SCBA), 36 (Fire Helmets), 16 (Fire, technical, wildland suits), 08 (Gas Detection) Switzerland PG36.
20% Major responsibility sales organisation: Organising weekly customer visiting plans, ensuring clean and correct on‑time reporting to the Sales Manager using tools ("sales Forces").
The customer visit plans must be efficient and effective on cost and time, planned with hotel accommodations to ensure efficiency.
Main focus: acquisition of new customers together with Channel Partner Sales.
Customer potential analysis, customer visits, consulting, preparing quotations, project coordination with internal specialist departments.
5% Major responsibility National and International public appearance: Participation in national trade shows and organising customer regional‑oriented open‑door activities with Channel Partners.
5% Product specialist: Participation in Product Specialist team to contribute and help develop customers’ needs.
Qualifications
Experience (required): Minimum 5 years in sales (preferably PPE products). Comprehensive understanding of current Fire Fighting standards and practices.
Written & spoken German and English; French is an additional plus.
Project experience.
Technical skills.
Experience (preferred): Firefighter experience, Channel Partner sales experience, strong social skills (inter‑ and external), team player.
Ability to meet deadlines through good time management and prioritisation.
Education (required): Technical or administrative.
