This is an executive‑level technical product ownership role in which you will control the architecture, technical roadmap, and AI integration across our entire learning infrastructure. You will be accountable for navigating complex technical tradeoffs that keep our products streamlined, scalable, and intensely focused on advancing student outcomes. What You Will Be Doing
Cultivating and demonstrating comprehensive education product expertise to inform strategic direction
Authoring technical specifications that resolve critical technical challenges and emphasize simplicity, performance, and sustainable architecture
Deploying generative AI technologies to automate and optimize engineering workflows, consistent with the strategic objective of minimizing manual intervention

Vice President Of Product Engineering Key Responsibilities
Serve as the CTO for one or more education products, owning essential capabilities and generating business value through flawless execution and strategic leadership
Basic Requirements
7+ years of experience driving critical architecture and design decisions on software initiatives, including the application of architecture design patterns or major open source technologies
4+ years of experience in roles with complete technical and delivery accountability for a revenue-generating product
Experience leveraging AI agents to design, implement, and test software products or features
This is a full‑time (40 hours per week), long‑term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $200 USD/hour, which equates to $400,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
