About Our Client
Our client is a well-established international company in the premium retail segment in the heart of Zurich. To strengthen the local operations team, we are currently looking for a hands-on and reliable Inventory Operations Coordinator (m/f/d) for a temporary assignment of 6 months. Based on performance, there is the possibility of an extension or even a permanent takeover.
Job Description
To be considered for this position, the selected candidate brings the following qualifications:
* Coordinate domestic and international merchandise transfers, including returns, repairs, loans and event-related shipments
* Perform regular stock counts and assist with audits
* Ensure accurate stock handling, storage and organization
* Prepare and manage logistics documentation in line with internal and legal requirements
* Support salon display changes and visual merchandising
* Monitor and reorder salon and operational supplies
* Follow security and compliance procedures in all stock-related tasks
* Collaborate with logistics partners and internal departments
* Maintain a well-organized vault layout
* Support opening and closing routines
* Act as backup for the Operations Manager when needed
The Successful Applicant
To be successful in this position, the ideal candidate will bring the following qualifications:
* Successfully completed retail apprenticeship or commercial apprenticeship with a focus on retail
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position
* Experience in luxury retail is highly desired
* Business fluency in English and very good German skills are required
* Knowledge of additional languages is a strong advantage
* Confident user of all MS Office programs and internal ERP systems
* Strong understanding of merchandise flow and stockroom operations
* Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
* Reliable and responsible
* Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
