Job Description Summary Senior Account Manager - Gas Power Services Central & North Europe - Heavy Duty Gas Turbines (including "Regain") Job Description Roles and Responsibilities Within the specified geographic area and/or with specified accounts, the Gas Power Services Senior Account Manager is responsible for the oversight and management of GE Vernova's relationship with our customers, and ultimately for selling product(s), services, parts, solutions, or projects into those accounts. This role will report directly to the Sales Director, North Europe, however will work in very close collaboration with the Service Director, Central & North Europe. The working collaboration is to ensure implementation of agreed customer and site prioritisation, engagement strategies, and ITR assignments. Specifically within the Gas Power Services cluster of Central & North Europe, this position will be responsible and accountable for Sales and Account Management of a) The Netherland's Heavy Duty Gas Turbine power station installed base and; b) selected sites from within one or all of Germany, Switzerland, Austria ("DACH" countries). These latter so-called "Regain" sites will form a core of the assigned sites within the DACH countries. Account and country assignments may change at the discretion of the business. The role is measured against a variety of pre-determined customer, process and financial metrics. Meeting financial targets, which will be set against all sites including the "Regain" sites, is critical to success of the role. The individual works with an ITR mindset, and closely collaborates with all stakeholders throughout the ITR lifecycle to ensure Orders are executable in a safe, timely and profitable manner Account Managers have specialised knowledge of the latest commercial developments in their own area of responsibility and has the communication skills to influence others. The role contributes towards strategy and policy development and ensures delivery within own area of responsibility. The Account Manager has a working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate GE Vernova in the market It is critical to have the ability to use judgment to make decisions, solve complex tasks and problems within the customer relationship lifecycle. The successful candidate uses commercial and technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations. Account Managers must be able to clearly articulate difficult or sensitive information; and work to build consensus. Required Qualifications This role requires significant experience with a recent demonstrably proven track record in heavy duty gas turbine Account Management and/or Sales and/or customer relationship management, including offer development and negotiation. Proven ability to drive business growth (Orders / Commits) against ambitious targets. Operational evidence of un-seating competition through the development of customer relationships and/or opportunities, even if from a blank sheet. A detailed and extensive working knowledge of heavy duty Gas Power technology for both legacy Alstom and legacy GE nameplate Gas Turbine, Combined Cycle, and controls technology. Proven experience of developing, leading and closing GE Vernova Heavy Duty Gas Turbine service contract negotiations on both legacy Alstom and legacy GE sites in English and German is required (MYA, Transactional, Upgrade and non-Upgrade). Again, evidence of the sae in Dutch is advantageous. Detailed GE Vernova "P5" process knowledge and experience Knowledge level is comparable to a Master's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience). Written and spoken business-level fluency in both German and English is required. Conversational Dutch, or better, is a distinct advantage. Desired Characteristics Solid ITR (ITO OTR) mindset, with customer service at the center Strong oral and written communication skills, together with strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Highly structured. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems; lead programs / projects. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Proven experience in the Netherlands and DACH country markets Willingness to be held accountable to the sub-Region, Region, and head quarters against targets, as frequently as weekly via Pacing.
