Head of trust and corporate administration

Our responsibilities:

* Lead, develop, motivate, support and direct a team of trust and corporate paralegals, setting high standards and ensuring responsibilities are appropriately planned and allocated.
* Provide oversight and ensure the smooth and timely filing of annual returns, holding of Annual General Meetings, incorporation/dissolution/re-domiciliation of entities, and filing/updating of beneficial ownership registers with regulators in different jurisdictions.
* Monitor and ensure compliance of entities with company law in different jurisdictions.
* Develop and document day-to-day processes and procedures for the department.
* Oversee adherence with GDPR, information security requirements and other internal policies and procedures.
* Provide support, sound guidance and regular reporting to senior management on trust and corporate matters.
* Work closely with legal counsel and advisers on the drafting of trust deeds, resolutions and various other trust or corporate related documents.
* Oversee and ensure integrity of all statutory documents for entities/ trusts in the Document Management System (“DMS”).
* Provide annual support with external audits, including agreed upon procedures.
* Maintain and ensure accuracy of organizational and structural charts.
* Maintain a trust and corporate compliance calendar, staying abreast of future changes and provide timely regulatory and structural updates to team.
* Coordinate and record meetings of directors, shareholders and committees.
* Lead and contribute to ad-hoc projects from time to time.

Requirements:

* Professional fluency in English with the ability to understand legal documents in English.
* University degree and/or a professional qualification e.g. STEP, CPA or equivalent with preferably 5+ years of experience working in corporate, fund or trust administration and 2+ years of experience leading a team.
* Ability to work efficiently, diligently, and independently in an international environment.
* Ability to lead, coach and motivate a team to high standards.
* Ability to prioritise and multi-task.
* Organized, accurate and detail-oriented with sound judgement and integrity.
* Proactivity and strong problem-solving skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Accountability.
* A can-do positive mindset, resilient, flexible, and willing to support team objectives.

The ideal candidate will be able to commute to Syntes’ office in Vaduz every day of the week.
