MANAGING CONSULTANT, AVIATION (PERMANENT RECRUITMENT AND EXECUTIVE SEARCH)
JOB TITLE: Managing Consultant – Aviation (Swiss & European Market)
RESPONSIBLE TO: OPERATIONS DIRECTOR, ARS
DIVISION/LOCATION: ARS, Switzerland / Europe (Hybrid / Office-based as required)
HOURS OF WORK: 40 hours per week
Position Summary
To support the development of new and existing business for Resource Group across the Swiss and European market by identifying, attracting, and recruiting high-quality aviation professionals into permanent positions. The role is responsible for delivering an excellent recruitment service, developing strong client and candidate relationships, and ensuring compliance with all relevant local regulations and internal processes.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
In addition to the functions detailed below, employees are required to carry out such other duties as may reasonably be required. In addition, key objectives and targets will be set/established and agreed on appointment.
General
Build relationships with candidates and clients and develop new customers across Switzerland and Europe within the aviation sector (including aviation executives, technical aviation staff, flight crew, and associated functions) – primary focus of the role.
Deliver end-to-end permanent recruitment solutions, ensuring a professional and consultative service at all stages of the hiring process.
Support wider recruitment delivery as required, in line with business needs and client demand.
Permanent Recruitment Delivery (Aviation)
Manage the full permanent recruitment lifecycle including sourcing, qualification, interviewing, shortlisting, offer management, and onboarding support.
Produce high-quality candidate profiles, CV presentations, and recruitment documentation.
Maintain consistent communication with candidates and clients to ensure a positive experience and strong engagement.
Manage multiple vacancies and client requirements simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and service expectations are met.
Maintain accurate records using company systems, ensuring compliance and data integrity.
Candidate Networking
Identify and develop new permanent recruitment opportunities across the region through proactive candidate networking.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key aviation stakeholders, decision makers, and hiring managers.
Support client retention through excellent service delivery and consistent relationship management.
Provide consultative advice to clients on recruitment strategy, salary benchmarking, and market availability.
Participate in sales presentations and client meetings when required.
Attend industry events and exhibitions in Switzerland and further afield to generate new business and strengthen existing partnerships.
Compliance, Systems & Process Improvement
Ensure recruitment activity aligns with company standards and applicable employment regulations across Switzerland and Europe.
Support development and improvement of recruitment processes, compliance systems, and administrative workflows.
Work with the Group Quality department when required.
Coordinate with Corporate Services teams and other Group divisions as required.
Contribute actively to business and process improvement initiatives within the office and wider recruitment function.
Travel within Switzerland / Europe and overseas when required and authorised.
Market Knowledge & Continuous Development
Continuously develop market knowledge across Swiss and European aviation hiring trends, competitor landscape, and talent availability.
Build expertise in the permanent recruitment market and develop a strong personal network of aviation professionals.
Qualifications
Higher education or relevant experience
Fluent English (written and spoken)
Additional European language skills (Spanish, German and/or French highly desirable)
Experience & Skills Required
Proven recruitment experience (permanent recruitment preferred; aviation highly desirable)
Demonstrated success in a target-driven environment
Strong relationship management capability
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to write professional business communications such as emails, advertisements and candidate submissions
Strong organisation and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple roles and deadlines
Strong customer service and stakeholder management focus
