As an Executive Chef, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of all food production areas.
The successful candidate will have advanced culinary skills and experience in leading multi-cultural teams. They must be fluent in English and have excellent communication skills to interpret and orate documents such as menus and recipes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work within set food-cost budgets and follow portion control charts.
* Share responsibility for all food orders and consumption with the Inventory Manager.
* Constantly strive to upgrade food quality and presentation.
* Maintain direct communication with the Inventory Manager for provision-related matters.
* Ensure maintenance and upkeep of all Galley equipment.
* Ensure all menus, recipes, methods, and specifications are adhered to.
* Regularly inspect Galley areas to ensure cleanliness and safety.
Requirements:
* At least 2-3 years' experience in the same role.
* Advanced culinary skills and knowledge of Public Health and Sanitary Policies.
* Fluent in English and ability to speak additional languages is an advantage.
* Experience in leading multi-cultural teams and strong administration skills.
* Guest-focused, service-oriented personality and professional appearance.
