We are looking for a Material Order Specialist (50%), responsible for processing orders for materials for both domestic and international requests, in accordance with company policies and practices.
Your activities will include order entry, acknowledgment, revision, and preparation of shipping documents. You will coordinate order tracking and customs clearance by working with transportation carriers and brokers. You may also coordinate the scheduling of orders with critical delivery dates and review orders for export control compliance.
Your Responsibilities:
* Support other Varian departments in logistics-related questions
* Assist with testing new features in SAP
* Act as a loyal representative of Varian Medical Systems, demonstrating confidence in the company and its products
* Support other Varian sites regarding logistics questions, such as spare parts, field replaceable units, and delivery methods
* Report activities regularly
* Willing to enhance personal skills
* Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Required Skills and Knowledge:
* 2-5 years of experience in a similar role
* Independent work style with strong analytical, logical, and problem-solving abilities
* Good communication skills and proficiency in English
* Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
