Job Summary
This role is a pivotal position in the Middle Office Assets team, requiring a strong analytical mindset and excellent project management skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing internal and external transformation projects, identifying areas for process improvements, and providing methodological input for development and change activities.
Responsibilities
* Manage internal and external transformation projects related to Middle Office assets
* Identify areas for process improvements and streamline workflows
* Provide methodological input for development and change activities in terms of profit and loss (PnL) and positions
* Create reports with validation of PnL and positions for portfolio owners
* Monitor portfolio structures and its processes
* Coordinate and support other units, ensuring directives are met by the Front Office
* Implement system enhancements and collaborate with IT teams
* Create and enhance reports in terms of PnL, Positions, and Cashflows using PowerBI
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
* A university degree in finance, engineering, data science, or a similar field
* At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the energy or finance business, with international scope
* Solid knowledge and understanding of the value chain in the energy sector or commodity market
* Strong project and process management skills
* Proficiency in Python, Power BI, VBA, and data analysis
* Inter-cultural experience
* Fluency in English, French as an advantage
