Tasks
1. Lead and support a team of engineers and technicians, fostering mentorship, motivation, and professional development
2. Develop and optimize manufacturing processes from concept to production handover, ensuring quality, scalability, and cost-effectiveness
3. Collaborate closely with product development, materials engineering, quality, supply chain, and manufacturing engineering to translate requirements into robust and efficient processes
4. Use data analytics and statistical process control to guide decisions and continuous improvement
5. Develop and implement a process technology roadmap aligned with business objectives and market needs
Requirements
6. Master’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related technical field
7. Minimum 6 years of experience in process engineering, including at least 4 years in a leadership or team management role
8. Demonstrated ability to build and lead diverse, high-performing engineering teams
9. Significant experience defining high-volume hardware manufacturing processes, including automation of assembly, gluing, and optical inspection
10. Expertise in DFM, FMEA, Gage R&R, DOE, SPC, CPK, and related statistical modelling techniques, with a proven record of applying them to improve processes
11. Experience in cleanroom environments is a plus
12. Strong collaboration, strategic thinking, and planning skills
13. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities, with the capacity to convey complex technical topics clearly
14. Business fluency in English; German is an advantage
