This senior leadership role reports to the Director of Site Planning and focuses on ensuring reliable product availability through effective production planning and scheduling across the supply chain. /ph3Key Responsibilities /h3ulliLead a team of planners responsible for plant planning activities and produce realistic supply plans for clinical and commercial programs. /liliPartner across functions to drive capacity trade‑offs, manage new product introductions, and support decision‑making for asset/product levels during Supply Review Meetings. /liliCreate, develop, and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) to meet customer requirements and inventory targets while supporting efficient manufacturing operations. /liliIdentify constraints or potential issues and develop resolutions, simulations, reports, and presentations for management. /liliEnsure site adherence to the Monthly Planning Process and provide input to the Integrated Business Process (IBP). /liliProvide site inventory projections, analyze actuals versus projections, and identify inventory‑management opportunities to improve profitability. /liliOwn the Short‑Term Exception Management (STEM) process and drive continuous improvement of site planning processes. /liliCollaborate with End‑to‑End (E2E) Planning and other key functions to understand, assess and respond to evolving market opportunities. /liliMaintain accurate planning parameters within relevant systems and ensure data integrity. /liliDevelop and coach team members, fostering modern supply‑chain capabilities and meeting performance metrics such as OTIF, schedule attainment, and inventory/SLOB targets. /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulliBachelor’s degree in science, engineering, business, supply‑chain management or related field (advanced degree or equivalent experience preferred). /lili8+ years of supply‑chain experience, including manufacturing, logistics, and planning, with people‑management experience desirable. /liliExperience in healthcare or similarly complex, regulatory‑dependent sector preferred. /liliStrong written and oral communication skills (English required, German desirable). /liliSupply‑chain planning experience in a multi‑-echelon environment; ability to work across organizational boundaries in a global setting. /liliRequired SAP experience; APICS/LEAN certifications preferred. /liliAbility to develop and coach a team, lead multiple initiatives, and communicate complex scenarios to senior leadership. /liliStrong analytical, quantitative, and business‑financial acumen; proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. /li /ulh3Preferred Skills /h3ulliAnalytical reasoning, demand forecasting, demand planning, developing others, distribution management, inclusive leadership, just‑in‑time (JIT) manufacturing, manufacturing flow management, operational excellence, performance measurement, process improvements, product design, product development, production operations, sales operations planning (SOP), supply planning, tactical planning, team management. /li /ulpWe celebrate an inclusive work environment and encourage diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
