The mandate of the Brand & Marketing unit is to lead, promote and shape the Julius Baer brand, in order to continuously strengthen its brand equity in the Group’s HNWI and UHNWI target segment in its chosen strategic markets. The Head of Brand & Marketing is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive brand and marketing strategy that enhances Julius Baer's position as a leading wealth management firm. This senior leadership role oversees a number of cross-functional brand and marketing teams, working closely with various departments to promote the bank's brand, products, and services to clients, prospects, and other stakeholders.
Job Description:
* Develop and execute a global brand strategy that is aligned with Julius Baer’s purpose of ‘Creating value beyond wealth’ and enables it to achieve its growth strategy, its financial targets and fuels its market strategies
* Manage Julius Baer’s brand identity, including visual identity, tone of voice, and overall brand expression. Ensure consistent application of the Julius Baer brand across all touchpoints, including advertising, sponsorships, and partnerships
* Establish and manage an ecosystem of brand partnership designed to promote the brand and engage clients and prospects in strategic markets
* Deliver high-quality events, conferences, and seminars that showcase Julius Baer's expertise and build relationships with clients, prospects and other key stakeholders
* Oversee the development and implementation of targeted cross-channel advertising and content campaigns
* Leverage data-driven insights to engage with clients and prospects
* Define Group-wide marketing initiatives and drive them in close collaboration with Regional Marketing
* Develop and manage marketing budgets, resources, and vendor relationships to support marketing initiatives
* Lead and manage a team of marketing professionals across branding, advertising, content marketing, digital channels (website and social media) and events
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including communications, sales, and product teams, to ensure brand consistency
Job Requirements:
* Proven experience in comparable roles, preferably in the financial services industry
* In-depth understanding of brand management, marketing strategy, digital marketing channels and campaign execution
* Ability to work in an integrative way, across disciplines
* Track record of data driven decision-making
