The role:
As a Java Developer at Dun & Bradstreet, you'll manage, develop, and test our local platform across various countries. You'll work with diverse technical stacks and provide support and maintenance.
Key responsibilities:
- Innovative Development and Support: Enhance our local platform with robust, scalable solutions.
- Data Management: Ensure data integrity through ingestion, mastering, matching, and dispatching.
What You’ll Do:
* Development: Manage, develop, and test core D&B software systems, applications and software components (frontend: 20%, backend: 80%)
* Data Expertise: Handle data ingestion, mastering, matching, and dispatching for various countries.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Develop features end-to-end across the software stack in cross-functional teams.
* Clear Documentation: Produce detailed specifications and documentation for software development.
* Elegant Coding: Write simple, elegant code that ensures low-cost maintenance, extensibility, testability, and performance.
* Microservices & APIs: Maintain microservices and REST APIs with streaming capabilities.
* Agile Process: Work within Agile processes with 2-week sprints, participate in monthly competency meetings, and focus on compliance and data security.
* Team Support: Provide support to peers within local and offshore teams
Who You Are:
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
* Experience: Proficient in Java 8+. Able to write well-documented, maintainable, and testable code. Strong familiarity with the Spring Framework
* Tech Stack: REST, SOAP, MS SQL, (No) SQL DB, Elastic Search, Linux.
* Agile: Experience in scrum/agile teams.
* Innovation: Passion for emerging technologies and creating innovative solutions.
* Bonus Skills
* Big Data: Knowledge of big data technologies and data engineering.
* Cloud: Familiarity with AWS/Cloud.
