We are currently looking for an Avionics System Engineer with solid experience in the aerospace sector.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Take ownership of engineering activities related to aircraft interior lighting systems, acting as the main point of contact for this domain within the avionics team.
* Contribute to the development, integration, and validation of air data systems, including sensors/probes and air data computers.
* Collaborate closely with avionics and cabin/interior teams to ensure seamless system integration and alignment with project requirements.
* Provide technical support and mentorship to junior engineers, particularly within the air data systems scope.
* Manage interactions with suppliers, including participation in technical reviews, issue resolution, and development follow-up.
* Support broader system engineering activities, such as requirements definition, integration, testing, and certification processes.
YOUR PROFILE
* Proven experience in avionics engineering, with exposure to aircraft interior lighting systems and/or air data systems.
* Solid understanding of air data system components and integration processes.
* Experience driving technical topics and working in cross-functional engineering environments.
* Ability to coach and guide less experienced engineers.
* Background in supplier coordination within aerospace development projects.
* Strong analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities.
* Fluency in English is required; German is a plus.
