Are you skilled at directing and implementing coverage strategies for large, strategic accounts and aligning them with regional sales strategies? We are seeking a Head of Strategic Accounts reporting to the Global Head of Sales & Relationship Management, Asset Management.
The Asset Management Sales & Relationship Management team within Clearstream Fund Distribution manages global coverage of the Asset Manager segment, with team members across Zurich, Frankfurt, London, Luxembourg, Singapore, and Hong Kong. The team covers approximately 450 Asset Managers, from global bulge brackets to local champions, across various asset classes including alternatives. The Strategic Accounts unit focuses on large, complex global accounts and acts as a gateway to Clearstream's 4 D's (Dealing, Distribution, Data, Digital), facilitating comprehensive introductions to the full range of Clearstream Fund Services.
Your Responsibilities:
* Lead a team of 6 senior relationship managers covering the largest Asset Management accounts globally.
* Manage P&L responsibilities, develop client relationships at senior levels, and drive strategic dialogue to expand opportunities.
* Oversee contract negotiations, including strategic pricing, and collaborate with Business Development on onboarding new strategic accounts.
* Develop and implement commercial strategies for key accounts, ensuring alignment with our distributor coverage team for joint value creation and growth.
* Represent Fund Centre and Clearstream Fund Services 4D offerings, including expanding relationships through digital solutions migration.
* Ensure high-quality service as the primary contact within the Clearstream Fund Services ecosystem for products and operations.
* Maintain targeted engagement with key accounts and industry events, as well as with capability teams in Zurich and Luxembourg.
Our Requirements:
* 15+ years of experience servicing B2B partners, with a strong network and expertise in asset management.
* Proven skills in business development, contract negotiation, and senior client relationship management.
* Experience in leading and coaching senior team members.
* Fluency in German and/or English; additional languages are advantageous.
* Knowledge of Asset Management and Fund Platform/Distribution businesses.
* Excellent client service orientation and result-driven mindset with problem-solving skills.
* Good regulatory understanding related to fund and ETF distribution or data services is a plus.
* University degree in Business, Finance, Economics, IT, or comparable.
