Commercial Director Position Overview

Job Responsibilities:
* Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team comprising Sales, Marketing, Revenue Management, Reservations, Catering, and Public Relations personnel.
* Establish a collaborative, results-driven culture by fostering open communication, providing feedback, and setting clear goals.
* Partner closely with senior management to align the hotel's business plan with revenue-generating strategies.
* Build trust with internal and external stakeholders, including corporate leadership and ownership groups.
* Represent the hotel in commercial forums, travel as required, and maintain strong relationships within the hospitality sector.
* Develop and implement robust pricing and revenue strategies to maximize RevPAR and overall profitability.
* Ensure alignment across sales channels and consistent performance across key KPIs.
* Drive revenue accountability across all departments.
* Oversee key account management and provide support for strategic partnerships.
* Develop and execute sales strategies to optimize group, transient, and corporate segments.
* Approve sales travel budgets, review team performance, and set ambitious but achievable goals.
* Ensure effective resource deployment to maximize market opportunities.
* Develop and execute an integrated Annual Marketing Plan that supports brand positioning and commercial goals.
* Direct digital and traditional marketing activities, including SEO, PPC, social media, content, and campaign strategy.
* Ensure a compelling presence on hospitality platforms and third-party channels.
* Monitor market trends and stay ahead of competitors in positioning, messaging, and customer engagement.
* Oversee Public Relations strategy and initiatives with local agencies and corporate support.
* Champion a consistent brand voice across all channels.
* Lead targeted campaigns and partnerships to drive awareness and preference in key feeder markets.
Requirements:
* A strategic leader with three to five years' experience in a Commercial Director role within luxury hospitality.
* Proven track record in Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Management, preferably with comparable luxury brands.
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Hospitality Management preferred.
* Exceptional leadership, communication, and influencing skills.
* Strong financial management acumen.
* Creative mindset with the ability to innovate within a structured brand environment.
* High professional integrity and a hands-on approach.
* Flexibility to travel to key markets as needed.
