Your Tasks
1. Preparing, creating and updating training documents such as Technician Training Manuals or Cockpit Posters for the training of aircraft maintenance personal, pilots (only Ground theory) and specialists based on EASA Part 147/66 and EASA Part FCL rules and regulations
2. Production of descriptive, operation and procedural text to specification from engineering reports, drawings and general aircraft related documentation for the manuals
3. Analysis of engineering wiring diagrams for the production of functional block schematic diagrams and supporting text
4. Production of draft illustrations and illustration production packages from drawings and photographs to aid in the final preparation of artwork
5. Discussion and agreement of maintenance procedures from a "hands on" point of view with the engineering departments
6. Provision of responses to customer and internal departments documentation queries
With this you convince us
7. Minimum 5 years experience as a technical author writing aircraft electrical or avionic technical documentation
8. Aeronautical electrical or avionic apprenticeship or formal training
9. Experienced in the field of aviation through flying or practical hands on
10. Good sound knowledge of engineering drawing systems and general aircraft related documentation
11. English skills (minimum C1 niveau), German skills would count as an advantage
12. Good communication and social skills are required
