Responsibilities
* Lead, manage, and develop a team of R&D engineers, fostering a high‑performance, collaborative, and accountable team culture.
* Take full responsibility for team delivery, including resource planning, performance management, and team development.
* Own the end‑to‑end development of bipolar semiconductor devices, from concept to manufacturing transfer.
* Define and execute R&D strategies aligned with business goals and technology roadmaps.
* Drive innovation in materials, device architectures, and fabrication processes.
* Collaborate closely with process engineering, product management, and manufacturing to ensure successful industrialization.
* Actively monitor emerging technologies and market trends in power semiconductors.
* Guide and review technical work, ensuring high quality standards and technical excellence.
* Oversee project execution, including timelines, budget, and risk management.
* Prepare and review technical documentation, presentations, and patent applications.
Qualifications
* PhD or master’s degree in physics, electrical engineering, materials science, or a related discipline with strong grounding in semiconductor device physics.
* Several years of experience in semiconductor R&D, including proven experience leading and managing R&D teams.
* Solid track record in people management, performance management, coaching, and team development.
* Extensive hands‑on experience in power semiconductor devices (e.g., IGBTs, power MOSFETs, diodes, thyristors).
* Demonstrated ability to drive technical delivery through others in a complex R&D environment.
* Strong interpersonal, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
* Experience in managing cross‑functional teams and influencing without authority.
* Strong ownership mindset with the ability to balance technical depth and leadership responsibilities.
* Passion for developing people, driving innovation, and building high‑performing teams.
