 
        
        Senior Advocacy and Innovation Scientist, Medical Nutrition
Located in Kaiseraugst, Switzerland, dsm-firmenich seeks a Senior Advocacy and Innovation Scientist in Medical Nutrition to lead cross‑functional projects developing science‑based health ingredients and advocate essential nutrients.
Key Responsibilities
 * Lead cross‑functional innovation projects to develop new science‑based health ingredients for Medical Nutrition, ensuring delivery in quality, on time, and within allocated resources from ideation to launch.
 * Collaborate closely with the Medical Nutrition Marketing leader to co‑develop project strategies aligned with global and regional market needs.
 * Build and lead advocacy plans for essential nutrients in the Medical Nutrition field, engaging with key opinion leaders and internal science leaders to shape research and communication strategies.
 * Author white papers and scientific publications to support advocacy efforts, enhancing the credibility and visibility of dsm‑firmenich’s nutritional solutions in the Medical Nutrition market.
 * Translate complex scientific data into compelling, understandable messages for internal teams and external stakeholders, including customers, and support innovation workshops and marketing strategies.

You Bring
 * A PhD in Medical Nutrition science, ideally with expertise in muscle health and sarcopenia, along with a deep understanding of muscle physiology and the ability to design impactful scientific studies.
 * At least 7 years of experience in the medical nutrition science field and the nutrition industry, with a proven track record in delivering scientific research, innovations, and advocacy initiatives.
 * Strong scientific rigor, project management skills, and the ability to lead cross‑functional teams while maintaining focus on pragmatic solutions and end goals.
 * Excellent communication skills, including the ability to translate complex scientific concepts into consumer‑friendly messages, and proficiency in scientific writing and presenting to diverse audiences.
 * Strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to understand market trends, patient needs, and leverage science to create distinctive, competitive value propositions.
 * A collaborative spirit and strong influencing skills, with experience working with academic partners, industry experts, and global stakeholders, and the ability to influence without formal authority.
