Ph3Job Description /h3 h3The opportunity /h3 pSolid‑State Transformers (SSTs) are emerging as critical infrastructure for modern data centers, particularly AI facilities, by providing high efficiency (up to 98.5%), compact, and intelligent power management. Unlike conventional transformers, SSTs utilize power electronics to convert medium‑voltage grid power directly to 800V DC, significantly reducing footprint, increasing efficiency, and easing grid interconnection. /p pJoin us as a Global Product Specialist – Solid‑State Transformers (SSTs) and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of data center supply infrastructure, guiding both Hitachi Energy and clients toward smarter, greener, and more resilient operations. /p h3How you’ll make an impact /h3 ul liConduct market evaluations, competitor analyses, and identify gaps in product, solutions, and services, while assessing Hitachi Energy's positioning /li liGather and analyze global standards, market requirements, customer needs, and values to contribute to the product roadmap /li liSupport the Global Product Manager in creating business cases for product, solutions, and service development projects /li liSupport global and local marketing teams in creating market communication materials, including assistance with new product launches /li liProvide sales support, participate in customer meetings, and attend trade shows as required, ensuring the availability of appropriate training materials for internal and external use /li liDrive technical solutions across Hitachi Energy's global footprint, following an annual cycle of activities to govern Global Product Management /li /ul h3Your background /h3 ul liBachelor's degree in engineering, along with 10+ years of related experience preferred /li liPrior experience in Product Management or Product Ownership within data centre domain, and knowledge of Solid‑State Transformer (SST) technology /li liPossess a technical mindset to serve as a technical expert, instilling customer confidence in the product and contributing to product design /li liAbility to simplify and present the value proposition of a complex offering /li liStrong expertise in qualitative and quantitative business analysis /li liProficient in analyzing market potential through product segmentation, go-to-market channels, and developing business cases. /li liWillingness to travel domestically and internationally (20%) /li /ul h3More about us /h3 pOur flexible working practices help you optimize personal and business performance while creating an environment where all employees can develop their skills and grow. /p h3Accommodations for qualified individuals with a disability /h3 pQualified individuals with a disability may request a reasonable accommodation if you are unable or limited in your ability to use or access the Hitachi Energy career site as a result of your disability.
