Responsibilities
* Lead and support microbial fermentation campaigns from planning to execution
* Ensure safety, hygiene, and environmental standards are met through risk assessments
* Create and review production documentation, including electronic batch records
* Troubleshoot equipment and process issues, ensuring smooth batch execution
* Handle deviations, change controls, and CAPAs to maintain top GMP standards
* Contribute to capital projects-supporting setup, commissioning, and qualification of new equipment and systems
* Develop and update DeltaV automation recipes
* Coordinate with engineering teams for campaign prep and facility changeovers
* Drive innovation and continuous improvement projects in manufacturing
* Train operators on processes and equipment
* Represent the production team during audits and customer visits
Requirements
* Degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or related field
* 1-5 years of experience in bioprocessing, ideally in microbial fermentation
* Strong understanding of GMP and biotechnical manufacturing
* Fluent in English; German is a bonus
* Great communication skills and a team-first mindset
* Organized, proactive, and solution-oriented
* On-site role-no remote work
