Job Description
As a leader in our team, you will play a pivotal role in promoting our research findings and highlighting their impact and relevance to society. Your mission will be to valorize our research output, promote studies in various disciplines, and manage internal and external communication.
This requires excellent knowledge of English and French, as well as strong leadership skills to lead a small team. You will report to the Dean and work actively with the faculty members and EPFL's Mediacom office.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement a strategy for promoting our research and studies.
* Produce and supervise editorial and visual productions.
* Manage social media accounts and analyze the results of communication actions.
* Ensure the revision and monitoring of central websites.
* Advise professors and the Dean's office on digital strategy and presentations.
* Organize and promote major events.
Requirements
* PhD or Master's degree in an ENAC field or other basic sciences and engineering domains.
* Bilingual French and English (or at least Proficiency level).
* Experience in communications and/or as a science journalist, preferably in an academic context; knowledge of the communications ecosystem in Switzerland.
* Experience in producing content based on input from diverse units for various media.
* Ability to explain complex topics in layman's terms, with excellent writing skills in English and French.
* Team spirit, flexibility, service-oriented attitude, rigorous, proactive, and sense of organization.
