IBR Inc. is a Swiss boutique Contract Research Organization (CRO) operating GxP-compliant bioanalytical laboratories and supporting international biopharmaceutical clients from early discovery through clinical development. To support the smooth and compliant operation of our laboratories, we are seeking a permanent part-time Lab Operations Assistant who is highly organized, reliable, and experienced in regulated laboratory environments. Your Role You will play a key operational role in ensuring that laboratory infrastructure, samples, equipment, and documentation are managed efficiently and in compliance with regulatory requirements. You will work closely with laboratory scientists, QA, and management. Your responsibilities include: Sample and Reagent Management Receipt, labelling, registration, and documentation of samples and reagents Accurate management of sample and reagent inventories Preparation and shipment of samples in accordance with applicable regulations and protocols Laboratory Supplies and Inventory Monitoring stock levels of consumables and reagents Ordering and tracking supplies to ensure uninterrupted laboratory operations Laboratory Equipment and Infrastructure Coordination and documentation of routine maintenance, calibration, and servicing Maintenance of complete and audit-ready equipment records Writing, updating, and reviewing equipment-related SOPs Documentation and Compliance GxP-compliant documentation of all activities (GLP, GCP, GMP as applicable) Maintenance of organized logs and records to support audits and inspections Your Profile Education in Life Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field (apprenticeship, associate, or bachelor’s degree) Strong organizational skills and a high level of accuracy and reliability Familiarity with basic laboratory techniques and laboratory equipment Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with scientists and QA Prior experience in a regulated laboratory environment (GLP, GCP, GMP) is highly desirable Fluent German (written and spoken) Good English communication skills (written and spoken) What We Offer A permanent position in a growing, science-driven CRO A central role in maintaining high-quality, inspection-ready laboratory operations Close collaboration with experienced bioanalytical scientists Flat hierarchies and direct communication lines Modern laboratory infrastructure in Matzingen, Switzerland Competitive compensation aligned with experience and workload
